Black Garlic Parmesan Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pasta of choice

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 3-4 cloves of garlic

  • 1 8-oz container Black Garlic Cream Cheese, room temperature

  • 1-2 cups reserved pasta water

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1 cup frozen peas

  • 1 12-oz package grilled chicken breast, chopped

  • Fresh basil

Directions

  1. Cook pasta al dente, according to package directions, reserving 2 cups of pasta water before draining

  2. Melt butter over medium heat in an extra large skillet. Add garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds

  3. Add cream cheese and 1 cup pasta water (save remaining cup for later if needed). Whisk until smooth

  4. Add grated parm, and salt and pepper to taste

  5. Fold in cooked pasta, peas, and chicken. Mix well

  6. Serve topped with basil, extra Parm and enjoy!
