"Fry" Bread Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 tube buttermilk biscuits

  • Olive or avocado oil spray

  • 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning

  • 1 pound of ground chicken, turkey or beef

  • 1 can refried beans

  • 1/2 cup salsa, split

  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese

  • For topping: sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Brown meat, season with taco seasoning, and 1/4 cup of salsa, and cook through

  2. Heat refried beans in pan on stovetop. Mix in 1/4 cup salsa and 1/4 cup shredded cheese

  3. Roll out biscuits one at a time, stretching and pulling to help dough size expand

  4. Spray air fryer basket with olive oil spray and place two biscuits (more or less depending on size of air fryer) in basket

  5. Cook biscuit rounds at 350° for about five minutes each. They cook up pretty quick so keep an eye on them! Repeat until all biscuits are cooked

  6. Top biscuit rounds with refreshed beans, sour cream, taco meat, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and whatever else you’d like!
