6 tbsp butter (3 for pan, 3 for making garlic butter)
2 tbsp garlic, minced
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
½ tsp rosemary
Pinch pink Himalayan salt
Pinch ground black pepper
Optional to add to butter: parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350º and warm a cast iron pan over medium heat
Add 3 tbsp of butter and all garlic but 1 tbsp (set aside) to cast iron pan and cook, stir and cook about 1 minute
Add steak to pan, not overlapping, and sear for 2 minutes. Flip and sear another 2 minutes – this is where extra 1-2 tbsp butter can be added if pan gets too dry
Place pan in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes
While steak is in the oven, add remaining 3 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp garlic, parsley, rosemary, salt & pepper to a small saucepot and warm over low heat until butter is melted
Stir until all ingredients are evenly combined. Optional to add parmesan cheese here
Remove pan from oven and allow to cool about 5 minutes, then drizzle the butter mixture over the top
