Ingredients

  • 2-3 heads of romaine lettuce

  • Trader Joe's Gyro Slices

  • Trader Joe's Israeli Feta Cheese

  • 2 Persian cucumbers, quartered

  • 1 carton of grape tomatoes, quartered

  • 1/2 small red onion, chopped

  • Hummus

  • Homemade Tzataziki

  • 1 cup of Greek yogurt

  • 1 Persian cucumber, finely chopped or grated

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Fresh dill

  • Juice from 1/2 lemon

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • Salt to taste

Directions

    For Salad

    1. Chop romaine and place into a serving bowl

    2. Slice cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onion and add to romaine

    3. Crumble feta cheese and add to salad

    4. Thinly slice and cook gyro slices according to package (about 20 seconds on each side)

    5. Place cooked slices on a paper towel to catch grease and let cool before adding to salad

    Tzatziki Sauce

      In a bowl, add all ingredients and mix until combined
