
Hatch Chile Mac & Cheese Burger

Ingredients
2 tablespoons Trader Joe’s salted butter
1 large Trader Joe’s Vidalia onion, thinly sliced
1-2 tablespoons water, as needed
1 lb. Trader Joe’s Organic Ground Beef
1 teaspoon Trader Joe’s Umami seasoning
1 cup Trader Joe’s Hatch Chile Mac & Cheese
1/2 cup Trader Joe’s Organic Vegetarian Chili
1 package Trader Joe’s Brioche Buns
1/4-1/2 cup Trader Joe’s Crispy Jalapeño Pieces
Directions
Melt butter in a large frying pan over medium low heat. Add onions, and stir occasionally until caramelized, 30-35 minutes. Add 1-2 tablespoons of water periodically towards the second half of cooking, to deglaze the pan and prevent burning. Once caramelized, set aside
Grill burgers to desired doneness
Warm hatch chile mac & cheese
Assemble burgers
