Healthier Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Brownies

Ingredients
- ¾ cup unsweetened cacao powder
- ½ cup almond flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ cup almond butter + ¼ cup for swirl on top
- ½ cup coconut sugar or sugar of choice
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
- 2 eggs room temperature (or two flax eggs for vegan*)
- ½ cup dark chocolate chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350F.
- Mix your cacao, almond flour, baking soda, and salt together
- In a separate bowl, mix ½ cup almond butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, coconut oil, & eggs (or flax eggs) together.
- Slowly add your dry ingredients to wet while mixing. Lastly, mix in your chocolate chips and set aside.
- Spray an 8x8 baking pan with oil, pour in batter. Take remanding almond butter and maker swirls on top.
- Bake 30 minutes, check with a toothpick or fork, if it comes out clean it is done, if not, put in for another 5-10 mines.
- Let cool on the countertop for 10 minutes before slicing in, enjoy!
