Pasta with Brown Butter & Sage

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta

  • 1 stick salted butter

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 2-3 tablespoons chopped fresh sage

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

  • Salt & cracked pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to directions on package

  2. Melt butter in large skillet

  3. After butter begins to melt, add in garlic and allow to simmer for 1-2 minutes until fragrant

  4. Add in chopped sage leaves and cook a few more minutes, allowing sage leaves to fry and butter to begin to brown

  5. Season butter sauce with a pinch of salt and fresh cracked pepper

  6. Add pasta to sauce and sprinkle in grated Parmesan

  7. Serve with extra Parmesan & pepper and enjoy!
