Roasted Cinnamon Sugar Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 3 cups walnuts

  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar

  • 3 tbsp water

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°f and prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil

  2. Add coconut sugar, cinnamon & sea salt to a medium sized bowl and combine

  3. Add water and mix until a thin paste forms

  4. Add walnuts and toss to coat well

  5. Spread walnuts evenly on baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, tossing every 20 minutes

  6. Top on oatmeal, yogurt, charcuterie boards, salads, or enjoy as a sweet snack!
