Trader Joe’s hack you need to try: Crescent Roll Soft Pretzels! This recipe is SO easy! You roll the dough up, give it a little baking soda bath, and sprinkle it with salt (or everything but the bagel seasoning). Then you bake until golden brown…they are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Don’t forget mustard(s) or cheese sauce for dipping! You are going to love these just as much as Pat the Spatula does!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Separate crescent rolls into perforated triangles and roll each one up into a crescent, starting at the wide end and rolling to the point
Mix baking soda with water in a pot and bring to a boil. 1 or 2 at a time, use a slotted spoon to carefully lower the crescent rolls into the water
Once they float to the top (about 20 seconds) immediately lift them out and transfer to the baking sheet. Complete the process until all 8 rolls are done
Spray with olive oil cooking spray and sprinkle with salt and everything but the bagel seasoning
Bake for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown
Serve with mustard (or cheese) for dipping and enjoy!
