Strawberry Custard Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tbsp. whole milk

  • strawberry vanilla greek yogurt

  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon

  • 2-3 slices braided and sliced brioche

  • 2-3 strawberries, sliced

  • Optional toppings: powdered sugar, maple syrup 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper

  2. In a bowl, whisk egg, yogurt, and cinnamon until it reaches a custard-like texture

  3. Use a fork to flatten the center of each piece of bread. Carefully pour custard into the center of the bread. Top with strawberries. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until set

  4. Let cool slightly. Top with powdered sugar and/or syrup if desired

  5. Serve & enjoy!
