With temperatures getting hotter, Pat is loving using the air fryer for all things! This new Air Fried Caprese Chicken brings together the flavors of summer- tomatoes and basil, making this dish a must for those hot summer nights! Pair it with a side salad or some Parmesan butter noodles and you have the perfect dinner! Pat hopes you enjoy!
1 teaspoon minced garlic or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
Fresh burrata or mozzarella slices
Tomato slices
Basil
Balsamic glaze
Directions
Whisk together marinade ingredients: olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Allow chicken to marinate at least 30-60 minutes
Place chicken in air fryer and cook at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes until chicken is cooked through
Remove chicken from air fryer and top with tomato slices and burrata or mozzarella. Place back and air fryer for a couple of minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly
Drizzle chicken with balsamic glaze, top with basil, salt, and pepper and serve!
