Chicken Flatbreads with Creamy Sriracha Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1-2 pounds diced chicken breast

  • 1 clove minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon Trader Joe's Onion Salt (can sub 1/2 teaspoon onion powder and 1/2 teaspoon regular salt)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • Trader Joe's Middle Eastern Flatbread

  • Creamy Sriracha Sauce

  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt (can sub sour cream)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • 1 minced clove of garlic

  • 1 tablespoon of sriracha

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Toppings

  • Romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, thinly sliced red onions

Directions

  1. Dice chicken breast into chunks

  2. Season chicken with minced garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, paprika, onion salt, salt, and pepper. Mix together and rub into chicken with your fingers until well coated. Let chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes

  3. Cook on medium high heat for about 6 to 7 minutes (on a grill pan or skillet) until chicken is cooked through. You could also skewer and throw on the grill

  4. To make sauce, mix yogurt, lemon juice, finely minced garlic, sriracha, and a tablespoon of milk until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste

  5.  For wraps: spray flatbread with avocado oil and heat on skillet until toasty (optional: heat flatbread in air fryer for about a minute)

  6. Top with cooked chicken, Romaine lettuce, tomato slices, and creamy sriracha
