Pat loves sweets and is so excited to share this new recipe with you that can be made in advance for any holiday party or snack! These chocolate covered dates are stuffed with peanut butter so you really can't go wrong serving these! Pat hopes you enjoy!
Medjool or Deglet nour dates (number depends on how much you are making)
Peanut butter (or you can sub any nut butter)
72% cacao dark chocolate chips
Coconut oil
Directions
Cut a slit in each date and remove the pit
Fill each date with peanut butter and set aside
Place dark chocolate and about a teaspoon of coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 30-45 sec intervals stirring between each until chocolate is melted
Dip each date into the melted chocolate and use a spoon to completely cover
Sprinkle each chocolate covered date with a little sea salt and place in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to allow chocolate to harden
