Ingredients

    Ginger Sugar

  • 1/2 cup sugar (coarse or granulated)

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • Float

  • 1 can Trader Joe's Sparkling Cranberry-Ginger Beverage

  • Trader Joe's Mango Sorbet

  • 1 lime

  • Optional Garnishes

  • Fresh mint

  • 1 mango, cubed or cut with melon baller

  • Fresh cranberries (for sugared cranberries, see below)

Directions

    Ginger Sugar

    1. Combine sugar and spices in a wide shallow bowl. You will use this to rim glasses and coat cranberries

    Sugared Cranberries (can be made ahead of time)

    1. In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup water and 2-3 tablespoons of ginger sugar

    2. Add a handful of cranberries. Simmer over medium heat until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes

    3. Drain cranberries and let the cool on parchment paper, 5-15 minutes

    4. Toss in ginger sugar and set aside

    Floats

    1. Cut lime into wedges. Rub a wedge around the rim of two 8-11oz glasses

    2. Dip the rim of each glass in ginger sugar

    3. Layer the glasses with sorbet and sugared cranberries

    4. Add sparkling beverage and a big squeeze of lime into each glass

    5. Garnish with mint, cranberries and fresh mango
