Flippin' Pat loves toast any time of the day and is excited to share this new toast recipe with you! The flavor combination of the pesto rosso and prosciutto is out of this world! Pat hopes you give this recipe a try and enjoy!
2 slices sourdough wheat bread
1 tbsp pesto rosso, divided
2 slices prosciutto
1 tomato, thinly sliced
1 teeny tiny avocado, sliced
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
First, make crispy prosciutto by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay prosciutto slices on the parchment and bake in oven at 400ºF for 12 minutes
Remove from oven and allow 5 minutes to cool
Toast bread and spread 1 tbsp pesto rosso onto each slice
Layer with crispy prosciutto, tomato and avocado. Sprinkle with salt
