Crispy Prosciutto Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough wheat bread

  • 1 tbsp pesto rosso, divided

  • 2 slices prosciutto

  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced

  • 1 teeny tiny avocado, sliced

  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped

Directions

  1. First, make crispy prosciutto by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay prosciutto slices on the parchment and bake in oven at 400ºF for 12 minutes

  2. Remove from oven and allow 5 minutes to cool

  3. Toast bread and spread 1 tbsp pesto rosso onto each slice

  4. Layer with crispy prosciutto, tomato and avocado. Sprinkle with salt

  5. Enjoy!
