Flippin' Pat thinks tacos are always a good idea, especially when they aren't made traditionally. These hoisin tofu tacos use Trader Joe's Taiwanese Green Onion Pancakes as tortillas and are packed with so much flavor and spice! Sriracha and chili onion crunch, what could be better? Remove tofu from package and drain excess liquid from tofu block by pressing tofu between paper towels. Make sure tofu is dry before crumbling
Crumble tofu into mixing bowl and pour cornstarch over top. Toss to coat
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook tofu in batches until crispy. Return all tofu to the pan over low heat and mix in hoisin. Toss to coat
Make sauce by combining soy sauce, sriracha and chili onion crunch. Set aside
Cook green onion pancakes in skillet until both sides are golden brown
Assemble tacos by filling pancakes with tofu. Garnish with green onions and drizzle sauce over top
