Ingredients

  • Juice of 2-3 pomelos

  • 3-4 oz tequila of choice

  • Sparkling lemon or lime water

  • 1 teaspoon sugar per glass

  • Mint for garnish

Directions

  1. Peel skin and juice pomelos in a bowl by hand or with a juicer- the heavier the pomelo, the more juice it will contain

  2. Discard pulp and seeds

  3. Fill glass with ice

  4. Pour 1/4 cup pomelo juice per glass

  5. Mix in sugar- adjust accordingly as pomelos are tart

  6. Mix in tequila

  7. Pour sparkling lemon or lime water to fill the remaining glass

  8. Top with fresh mint leaves
