Pat has a craving for chicken soup and is so excited to share this new recipe with you! A sprinkle of turmeric makes this soup a pretty golden color with added health benefits. Pat hopes you add this soup to your rotation and enjoy!
1 teaspoon each minced rosemary, thyme, parsley, and turmeric
1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
1 quart chicken broth
2 cups shredded chicken
8 ounces tortellini
Directions
Heat olive oil and butter and add in onions, celery, and carrots. Sauté a few minutes until veggies begin to soften
Add in garlic, herbs, and seasonings and sauté another minute or two until fragrant
Pour in broth, bring to simmer, cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Add in chicken and tortellini. Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes until Tortellini is cooked and chicken is heated through
